LETTER TO STAKEHOLDERS
Dear friends,
The introduction to the Sustainability Report represents an important opportunity each year to share with all stakeholders the idea that underpins a rigorous process of corporate evolution. As I often emphasise, Tarì is the home of entrepreneurs. It is here that businesses face change and uncertainty on a daily basis, which, now more than ever, seem to heavily influence our future. It is here that debate is animated and solutions are sought that can guarantee concrete benefits for our companies.
It is here that reflections and insights can take shape that can significantly influence the relationship between the company and the collective interest.
Tarì has been committed for years to deepening and spreading the values of sustainability throughout the supply chain. Since 2021, it has been drawing up its own Sustainability Report, which since last year has been presented to the shareholders' meeting alongside the Financial Statements. This step is fundamental. The ultimate goal, in fact, is to produce an integrated document that represents the company in a comprehensive manner, highlighting both organisational and governance aspects, as well as company programmes.
The integrated financial statements, understood in this way, must soon become the single presentation document for our companies, appropriately highlighting not only organisational data, but also projects and investment plans in innovation, capable of expressing a long-term vision. The issue of sustainability, in fact, does not only concern the impact that our activities have on the environment, but also touches on the deepest part of the organisation.
It concerns the ability to develop medium- to long-term investment programmes and to introduce precise methods for measuring results. It concerns the ability to equip the company with all the tools it needs to protect itself against risks.
And finally, it concerns the way in which people are considered, namely as important resources not only for achieving the company's objectives, but also for contributing to the well-being of society. All these aspects, brought together under the term sustainability, contribute to increasing the value of our company and our reputation with institutional bodies, the business world and also on international markets, where competition is increasingly fierce.
This is our main objective: to acquire and spread awareness, mastery of the tools available, knowledge of risks and opportunities. We want to think about the company in an innovative way, train and introduce new skills, and spread the value of teamwork outside the company, which is nothing more than putting individual experience at the service of the community to achieve a common goal: that of building a sustainable community.
